Program Profile

The 21st century makes itself felt as an inevitable process in which countries all over the world are forced to become information societies. Therefore, regarding higher education, universities' Master's and/or Doctoral programs are gaining importance as an ideal phenomenon not only for an academic career but also for lifelong learning.

Educated and settled manpower in a society is undoubtedly of primary importance in the development of that society. In addition, the shift of the manufacturing industry to production areas requiring advanced technology has led to the rapid development of research and development (R.D.) activities in our country, as in developed countries. R.&D. The first thing that comes to mind is universities that are open to technological research, development and specialization. In addition, the task of training qualified and application-oriented personnel who are open to innovations needed by industrialists in our country and who can constantly follow the technological movements in the world falls on our universities, which include first-degree technical fields.

KTO Karatay University, Institute of Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering Master's Program aims to increase the research and development potential of our region and our country in the fields of defense industry, energy, electronics and informatics and to transform this potential into unique technological products that can compete at the global level. In order to achieve this, the main reason for this program is to raise graduates with engineering knowledge and research and development skills who can grasp current technological developments, apply them in academia and industry, and more importantly, create innovations based on them. Master's (and PhD) programs can also be perceived as a program aimed at preparing senior management candidates in the public or private sector.

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Program aims to attract the attention of students from both industry and commerce and academic fields. In the non-thesis program, it is aimed to provide students with expertise and/or deepen their expert knowledge through high-level courses on current topics and according to the needs of the country.
